Chronicle Books Chooses Fadel for ERP and Rights & Royalty Solution

Chronicle Books Chooses Fadel Partners, Inc. for ERP and Rights & Royalty Solution

NEW YORK, Dec. 9 /PRNewswire/ — Fadel Partners, Inc. announces the selection of their Intellectual Property Management Suite of rights & royalty products by international publisher Chronicle Books as part of a broader ORACLE implementation. The IPM Suite will be deployed in tandem with ORACLE’s E-Business Suite with FADEL providing consulting and implementation services for the entire project.

One of the most admired and respected publishing companies in the U.S., Chronicle Books was founded in 1967 and over the years has developed a reputation for award-winning, innovative books. Chronicle Books has grown into an international publisher with a signature style that’s recognized in Europe and Asia as well as North America. Chronicle publishes 300 books and stationery products each year, and their books hit the best-seller lists regularly. They have partnered with some of the most prestigious names in entertainment to publish their books and giftwares.

The challenges facing Chronicle Books business growth included manual workflows, inability to track product costs and forecast cash flows, inefficient contract management, and difficulty processing large volumes of royalty data. The ORACLE/FADEL solution streamlines and automates these processes and was appealing from its end-to-end perspective. “FADEL’s IPM software was a driving factor in our decision. No one else offered a royalty system that could handle our expanding business and integrate seamlessly with ORACLE,” says Tom Fernald, CFO of Chronicle Books.

Chronicle Books felt confident that the ORACLE Applications, coupled with award winning FADEL Applications and Services, provided the most flexible, enterprise-class industry solution. With a proven and integrated Rights & Royalty solution to automate and streamline their Publishing business, and single vendor services from FADEL to deploy the latest ORACLE Applications and FADEL IPM Applications, the deal was sealed.
