FADEL Grows European Operation With Expanded London Office
SPITALFIELDS OFFICE WILL ENABLE FADEL TO FURTHER SCALE GLOBAL DELIVERY OF ITS LICENCING, RIGHTS, AND ROYALTY MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS
London, England – January 19, 2016 – FADEL, a leading provider of cloud-based intellectual property (IP) rights and royalty management software, today announced their move to London’s most prominent media and technology district, Spitalfields. Due to the company’s continued expansion in Europe, FADEL leased a converted warehouse to accommodate its growing staff and to enable more efficient project delivery and heightened customer service for its European clientele.
Commerce in the area began when King Charles I granted Spitalfields Market a license to trade on the premises. Today, the Spitalfields and Shoreditch districts, where the City of London meets the East End, are home to technology and media companies that command much more complex licensing for their wares, including Amazon, Mind Candy, Songkick, Elsevier, and Adstream. The proliferation of digital assets owned and licensed by media and technology companies such as these have made effective IP strategy and IP management a business imperative.
FADEL’s IP asset management products enable organizations of any size to effectively manage contract rights, royalty payouts, licensing, and digital asset rights with tailored solutions that can operate either in the cloud or as part of a company’s enterprise. FADEL solutions allow businesses the control and visibility they need to monetize their brands and take them to the next level.
“It is fascinating to think back on the rich history of Spitalfields as we stand in the very same place, building products that will shape the future of commerce,” said Robert Ambrose (@rambrose), Strategy and Business Development Director at FADEL. “Petticoat Lane, the famous street market that dates back to Tudor England, and Christ Church, built in the early 1700s, stand in contrast to surrounding glass skyscrapers. Notorious criminals such as Jack the Ripper and London gangsters Reggie and Ronny Kray who owned the streets of this district have—thankfully—given way to more reputable residents, which include some of the biggest names and most innovative startups in technology. It is remarkable to think about how our evolution as a society has indelibly changed the landscape of the area. We are pleased to join our media and technology neighbors in writing the next chapter of the district’s history.”
FADEL’s new office is located at Coppergate House, 16 Brune Street, London E1 7NJ, United Kingdom. Tel. +44 (20) 3769 4010.
