This session in the ongoing rights educational series will look at how each rights deal affects the overall value chain – securing rights at title acquisition, leveraging those rights during product development, ensuring additional content has been permissioned properly during the creative ideation stage, maximizing and monetizing ongoing sales in all markets, channels, and new revenue streams. We will discuss the need for a well-defined global rights model that is connected to the products that are created, having visibility into rights across the entire ecosystem, using the rights to drive transactions for both acquiring and selling rights, and finally managing financials related to rights.
