Fadel Partners Releases Industry’s First Enterprise Platform for Intellectual Property Management Solutions

New York, New York, August 10, 2011 – Fadel Partners, Inc. (“Fadel”) is pleased to announce the release of its Intellectual Property Management (“IPM”) Suite version 4.0, the next generation in enterprise class software solutions for managing intellectual property. IPM Suite 4.0 is the only Java J2EE web based enterprise IPM product available on the market today and allows media, entertainment and publishing companies to manage the end-to-end business flows of IP rights licensing, royalty posting and participations payout. The new release builds upon Fadel’s award-winning product line, expanding existing feature sets, adding new modules and extending enterprise plug-and-play capabilities.

Central to the new release is IPM Suite 4.0’s revamped J2EE foundation, which provides standalone enterprise capabilities such as party and contract management, dynamic workflow routing, customizable fields and open integration capabilities with tierone ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle Applications (E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards) and others. The enhanced J2EE capabilities of this new release also provide support for multiple enterprise middleware vendor offerings including IBM WebSphere, Oracle Weblogic, Red Hat JBoss and others. “We are pleased to announce the industry’s first open Java platform for Intellectual Property Management, capable of leveraging existing enterprise IT investments while allowing companies to easily manage both traditional IP distribution and digital IP distribution,” said Tarek Fadel, CEO of Fadel Partners.

As with previous versions, IPM Suite 4.0 provides the flexibility to configure the system for various industry business flows. The new release adds to the solution’s flexibility by providing Fadel’s customers with implementation options that make the most sense for their business. Whether the desire is to integrate with an enterprise ERP system or to run the solution independently, the Fadel platform easily supports client’s business strategies. In addition, the suite’s modular approach allows customers to take a phased approach in upgrading or replacing legacy systems.

In addition to the foundational and functional improvements to existing modules, IPM Suite 4.0 introduces a new product in the line: Participant Portal, which represents the first in a series of outward-facing IPM portals Fadel is developing. The Participant Portal module allows IP publishers to communicate with authors, content owners and other partners, while delivering PDF and web-based participation statements to them in real time via the internet. The portal also provides a conduit for payees to register for electronic payments.
