Senior CloudOps Engineer
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement regular system upgrades to enhance service continuity and user experience
- Review and revise practices and processes to enhance efficiency of access for users
- Responsible for the preparation and installation execution of FADEL releases.
- Maintains advanced knowledge in the different AWS services used by FADEL to manage and maintain Cloud Products; Knowledge in ECS deployment systems is a plus.
- Provide technical support to team members and vendors in accordance with agreed service level agreements
- Responsible for deployments and development of Cloud tools for automation and utilization of resources and DevOps-related tasks improvements
- Manage Linux OS administration (upgrade, maintenance and backup) and Hardening
- Ensure effective access to data and information assets whilst maintaining the requirements of security, privacy and confidentiality
- Understand both FADEL’s and the clients’ business, products and processes
- Apply supervisor’s feedback and suggestions appropriately and accurately
- Communicate and applies project standards
- Ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner
- Design, Management, Growth, Administration of different (AWS) cloud services and costs within all FADEL cloud accounts.
- Responsible for the Enforcement of Internal Server/Network/Security Policies.
- Consistently delivers high-quality products/services to our clients
Location

Desired Skills and Experience
- Computer Science or Computer Engineering Degree
- 4-6 years of experience in DevOps, or SecOps, or CloudOps
- Good knowledge in database installations, configurations, performance tuning (preferably Oracle or Postgresql)
- Good knowledge in networking and security concepts
- Advanced knowledge in cloud computing (preferably AWS)
- Good knowledge in automation tools and scripting (preferably Jenkins and bash) is a plus
- Fluency in written & spoken English, French is a Plus
- Knowledge in AI tools in CloudOps is a Plus
