Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and other Agile ceremonies
  • Review and analyze product requirements to identify deficiencies and to determine what to test
  • Document well-structured test cases in the test management system for functional and non-functional verification and regression testing
  • Meticulously execute different types of tests & record results
  • Thoroughly analyze and clearly report test results
  • Report and track bugs in the issue tracking system
  • Seek to learn application under test
  • Seek to improve knowledge of QA concepts and tools

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Computer Science or Computer Engineering Degree with 0-2 years of experience in a related field
  • Basic understanding of Software QA concepts, tools and processes
  • Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Good experience with SQL databases (Oracle/PostgreSQL) – is a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong analytical thinking and reasoning
  • Excellent organization and interpersonal skills
  • Strong will to learn and improve constantly
  • Good verbal and communication skills in English
