Sales Consultant

The Sales Consultant will interact with potential customers to promote and sell the company’s products or services.   The ideal candidates will possess the ability to quickly identify the needs of potential customers and explain features of a product or service in an articulate and accurate manner, as well as support the sales process with presentations and product demonstrations.

  • Interacting with potential customers to ascertain their requirements
  • Based on customer’s requirements, recommending the most suitable products or services out of the company’s portfolio
  • Developing demo presentations, scenarios and setups
  • Delivering presentations and demos to technical and business oriented prospects and clients
  • Making follow up calls to assist sales team in closing a sale
  • Maintaining relationships with existing customers and working towards obtaining repeat orders

New York or Los Angeles

  • Enjoy interacting with a wide variety of people in business settings
  • Knowledge and experience in sales consulting for technology products with ability to understand sophisticated enterprise business systems and configure demo instances
  • Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation and documentation/writing skills are important
  • The ability to empathize with the customer and to understand what it is that will make them want to purchase a particular product or solution
  • A college degree in business, commerce, marketing, computer science  or related field
  • 5-10 years’ experience selling technology products or services
  • Experience with ERP and other enterprise systems preferred
  • Experience in media & entertainment, rights & royalties or other related fields a plus
